About
MacKenzie Lane is a boutique buyer's advocacy built on one founding principle: that property buyers deserve the same level of professional advocacy that vendors have always taken for granted.
The firm operates as a strictly boutique practice, with Roberta personally engaged in every client relationship — from initial brief to final negotiation — with no handoffs, no junior staff involvement, and no volume compromises.
Based in Melbourne, we operate across the city's inner suburbs and greater Victoria — with complementary service to Geelong — bringing quiet precision and a design-led approach to every property search we undertake.

Meet Roberta
Licensed estate agent. Interior designer. Your advocate.
Roberta de la Torre brings a perspective to property advocacy that very few can offer. As both a licensed estate agent and a trained interior designer, she assesses properties through two lenses simultaneously — the structural and market realities that determine value, and the spatial, material, and design qualities that determine whether a home will truly serve the life you want to live.
Before founding MacKenzie Lane, Roberta built her career in sales, property management and agency operations across some of Melbourne and Geelong's leading agencies — experience that underpins the market knowledge, negotiation discipline and client relationship skills she brings to every engagement today.
MacKenzie Lane was founded on a principle Roberta has held throughout her career: that property buyers deserve the same level of professional advocacy that vendors take for granted. She personally manages every client engagement — from initial brief through to settlement — with no handoffs and no compromises.
"I didn't start MacKenzie Lane to sell properties. I started it to help people find home."
With particular expertise in interstate relocation, Roberta works with buyers navigating significant property decisions — whether relocating to Melbourne from elsewhere in Australia, or securing investment property across Victoria's premium residential market.
Why MacKenzie Lane
Buying property is emotional. We provide the objective lens — and the negotiation discipline — that leads to better results and fewer regrets.
